Who we are

Techno Cyprus ("we") operates the website and app at technocyprus.club — an event calendar for techno and electronic music in Cyprus. Contact: thomasries1985@gmail.com

What data we collect

• Account data: your name, username, email address and (if you use it) your Google account ID and profile picture. We never see or store your Google password.
• Usage data you create:events you mark as "going" or "interested", your friend connections, your favorite genres, and — if you are an organizer — the events you post.
• Technical data: a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Location:only if you tap "Show route from my location" — your position is used once in your browser to calculate the route and is never stored on our servers.

What we use it for

To run the service: showing events, connecting friends, letting organizers publish events. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Who can see what

Your name, username, favorite genres and your public RSVPs ("going" / "interested") are visible to other users of the app. Your email address is never shown to other users.

Where your data lives

Our servers are hosted by Render (Frankfurt, EU) and our database by Turso (Ireland, EU). Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Third-party services we use: Google Sign-In (optional login), CARTO/OpenStreetMap (map tiles), OSRM (route calculation) — these receive only the technical requests needed to provide their function.

Your rights & deletion

You can view and edit your profile at any time in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at thomasries1985@gmail.com — we will delete it within 30 days. You may also request a copy of your data or lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Age

Techno Cyprus is intended for users aged 18 or older, in line with the nightlife events it lists.
